I feel like a princess Tonight

Costume presented at Montana world of Wearable art - WOW Art Award show in the year 2009. The costume is made of fiberglass, L.E.D lights, foam, and cotton.

Inspired by Historic and stunning Neuschwanstein Castle of Germany, I wanted to create a child’s dream which has no boundaries of any nation, set in clouds, moonlight and a castle.

WOW is an internationally renowned design competition that attracts entries from over 40 countries. Anything that is wearable art can find a place on the stage, as long as it is original, innovative and well executed.

Garment featured in "Backstitch" which is a Design Magazine monthly published by Arch Academy of Design, Jaipur that covers latest events and happenings in the field of Art & Design.

Garment featured in one of the Children books by Fifi Coftson- A book that illustrates wonderful works of wearable art and a guide to creating them.

Working on this costume allowed me to explore different forms, materials, unconventional ideas and that made the whole process challenging as well as fun.

Designing for wow has allowed me to express my creativity following no rules.
