Last night I couldn't sleep and was awake till the wee hours..at around midnight I decided to go for a drive.
Before that let me tell you, I love driving but recently I have moved to Bangalore and it has crazy traffic, sometimes during the office hours even 1 km drive could take more than an hour. But otherwise, I love this city. Everything about it, from creative cafes to weekend getaways, its amazing weather all round the year, art galleries, party culture, trekking clubs, events happening every weekend and of course the food (its a heaven for food lovers)!! I love this place.
So back to last night...After midnight I left the city for the highway. It's late at night when one can really explore a city, with no traffic, There's nothing quite like taking a drive and listening to your favorite songs. These are some of the moments one remembers forever. The roads were empty, it had just stopped raining, the cold breeze gushing through the window, and what more reason did I need to have a cup of tea.
Standing on the bridge I saw some very beautiful lights of the city, glimmering lights set against a black sky. and instantly I felt like taking some pictures. I didn't have my camera but still was able to click some moving lights using a camera phone. I loved the abstraction in the pictures...
